Greetings Suite Habana family! I'm Nayelis Delisle, the proud owner of Suite Habana Café. Allow me to share my journey with those new to our family or those who haven't heard it yet. I was born and raised in Cuba, where my love for café con leche began at the tender age of three. My preference for a rich, dark brew with a hint of brown sugar was influenced by my beloved grandmother. Some of my earliest memories involve bonding with her over our shared passion for coffee. She used to save up to buy the finest Cuban coffee, kept securely in a family treasure chest. This deep affection for Cuban coffee only grew over time, and I knew I had to do something special with it.

At twenty years old, I made the life-changing decision to leave Cuba for the United States in pursuit of new opportunities and a better life. I worked tirelessly at multiple jobs to support myself and my family. About eight years ago, fate brought Manny into my life, and he had a wealth of knowledge in the specialty coffee industry, having worked with major labels. Together, we decided to bring the concept of Suite Habana Café to life, a place that embodies community, culture, and exceptional coffee. Our goal was to create a welcoming space where people from all backgrounds could come together, savor a cafecito, and learn about my Cuban culture while sharing their own. Suite Habana Café is my soul poured into a shop, and I take comfort in knowing that everyone who walks through our doors feels the warm and inviting energy, like being at home—mi casa es tu casa.
